Another picture inspired by my visit to Finland and Sweden... and using my friends as models - Maja and Joel. Well, I was intending to do a background, but got to this point and I kinda liked it the way it was. Well maybe sometime. Seems I have fallen in love with graphite again.

Oh, the dark area down the left hand side isn't smudge marks... back, back, yee who acuse me of smudge! It is where the binding on my sketch book lifted the page off the scanner bed... so nerh!

4 Nov 2002	Elina	Loading... Wow, somebody's actually been to Finland! Yay^-^! A nice piece of art, indeed, I think her expression is mightily good. But you know what - vikings didn't wore helmets with horns^-^. (Well, even the swedish think they did so it's OK.) Jason Ellis replies: "Ssssh, don't tell everybody that. I know it was the Celts and not the Vikings who wore horned helmets, but I reckon it looks good on Joel. Yes, and I'll be going back there so lock up your Salmiakki and your Saunas.... are you having a dig at the Swedish? "
24 Nov 2002	Frances Sylverwolffe Gibbs	Loading... Whoa, I love this one! Its so cool : D The standing one looks really nifty, with the bow and how s/he (I think it is a he but your reply to another comment threw me a little.. lol) is dressed. It's great!
10 Dec 2002	Mythril Darkelven	Loading... Elves' cheeks do not bulge like that. They should have longer ears. The proportioning is good, And the background is beautiful. Jason Ellis replies: "You say that elves cheeks aren't like that, and that their ears are longer, though you seem convinced one of these figures as an elf in spite of the fact that I never mentioned anything about an elf.Background?
