This is a tale told to me by Leppikertu. 'Once upon a time, in an Autumn, a long time ago, two acorns fell from an ancient Oak Tree. The old tree shed all of its leaves over them, and there they lay in the litter, which was like a warm blanket protecting them, through the winter. They remained there until spring when they were uncovered again to reveal that they had grown six times the size they had been in the fall. When the morning light fell upon them, they began to break open, and out hatched two wide-eyed children with funny ears.' Well that is what Leppis told me, and she even claims to have taught them, amongst other things, how to talk - that lady-bug tells a lot of such tales - and the first words she taught them were: elf and fairy. That is what she says. Ever since, the girl has had the name of elf, and the boy, fairy - don't ask why, that is just the way it is! Oh, they also call themselves 'The Siblings'.

Will probably take another couple of weeks to really finnish this properly, but I wanted to make someone smile today =)

So sorry. Umh. It wasn't ment to sound so bad. Well anyway I was talking about the fruits behind the tree, they're not in picture but you can almost feel them. Mayde the kids don't see them, and that's why they're having so much fun. If this was a bad-bad-bad message, shoot me. Eh heh.

:-) Jason Ellis replies: "I am not going to shoot you. No one is out to get you. There are no blinkin pineapples. And if you stop talking bout yourself in an unkind way, you might just suprise yourself in a nice way."

*swoon, faint, thud; greatness overload*

:-) Jason Ellis replies: "Oh, you fainted again! Covers you over with leaves and twigs so that no one will noticed. Public liability insurance is so expensive now...Evening constable. No, I haven't seen any young ladies named Laura; I'm just raking up these leaves. Oak trees are always dropping their leaves this time, you know."

I love this one. Can you deny the heartless emotion that comes out of it? 2 It's beautiful and not to mention your other works, you have talents my friend 2 don't waste them.

:-) Jason Ellis replies: "Thankyou MIa, you encouragement ensures that I am not wasting my talents. Thanks again."

The tree is gorgeous--love that bark texture. And the children are very cute.

:-) Jason Ellis replies: "Yes, Tammipuun is great! Thankyou."

Nice texturing there, my friend. A bit jagged on the bark but very nice indeed. The children look a bit..what's the word? Not all the way there. Try sharpening out the features a bit more. Nice grass. For some reason, this reminds me of LOTR, dunno why! Oh well, *grins*, nice job!

:-) Jason Ellis replies: "Hih, where I come from, bark is jagged *laughs* And I like that the children don't seem to look quite there, because it is a fairy tale. Thankyou, O ye of the smoothbark lands =D"

ThiS should be a poster, with the text above included. It's all so beatiful and magical *sigh* Love the little girl's expression, so playful. And bark, I can't draw bark. I am learning a lot by poking around your gallery tonight!
