Very creatively done - the 3D effect is obvious, and should be further exploited. It would be nice to see more using the technique, and from YOU, too. Jason Ellis replies: "*smiles* I know that leaving comments requires effort. Although I accept and appreciate both the praise and criticism I recieve, it is generous comments like yours, whether it is to give encouragement or suggestions, that impress me the most. Thankyou for your gracious comment."

She is very spiffy and I wish I could do profiles like that... **Rips up profile attempts and screams** anyway great drawing, I really love it. And combining two pics is a good idea. I always run out of paper. My evil scanner is so small so I have to have a really small sketchbook, and there is mever enough room... Jason Ellis replies: "Yes, I have the same problem, finding myself drawing for elfwood and so doing everything on A4; becomes a bad habit. Perhaps one day a digital camera.Ah, don't rip up your attempts, because they are the stepping stones of learning."
| 13 Dec 2002 | Courtney Weger Cantrell | Loading...Ooh, Jas, this is gorgeous! You definitely got the 3D effect to work well--I am amazed! If your shading on the girl were just a *leetle* bit smoother, the whole thing would look like a black-and-white photo. For some reason, I really like her upraised arm. Excellent work!!! | |
| 21 Dec 2002 | Patricia Kyle G. Mendoza | Loading...The details are wonderful! Her wrist attracts me in a way. It looks very pretty! I only have on complaint though ---maybe it's just me--- but is she wearing pants? ^__^;;; Jason Ellis replies: "Hihi, I wondered when someone would notice. I guess you could say that I was being cheeky. Like there a plenty of warrior women depicted with their bossoms out everywhere, so I wanted to do something different - well covered up top, but it amused me to do the indian breaches thing. Also, I wanted to highlight the design of the armour - only the most vulnerable areas are covered while allowing maximum movement - I would actually provide protection for her arms before her bottom; notice that also her shoulder blades bare. Just a design idea. Thanks Patricia. By the way, your email wasn't working there for a while." | |
| 21 Dec 2002 | Janne Vuollet | Loading...yaah, it really has a nice 3d effect! Though it works only when looking at the lady. Feels funny when trying to focus on the backround >_< | |
| 26 Dec 2002 | Tiina Laakso | Loading...Hi there! Again you've updated! You have been drawing quite much lately. That three dimensional effect makes the picture look really interesting. I like the way how you always try all kind of different drawing techniques, so you never know what to find from your gallery! | |

| 22 Oct 2003 | Sam | Loading...This is a very good picture! It's amazing! The girl looks as if she were just ready to fight someone in an open arena and she looks ready.... my opinion. I really do love it=D | |
| 14 Dec 2003 | Christina 'Perplexity' Likness | Loading...This looks totally 3-D - the background was a stroke of brilliance and efficiency if you ask me! You are so good at female profiles. | |
