I am continuing with using this style in designing armour. This time, however, I used a model for the face. Laura Kirsi Tuomanen Hill kindly allowed me to use a photo of her as a reference for this picture. She is a fellow artist of the wispy school of drawing - we both use long wispy lines to construct our drawings.

THis is really neat. I love the way you did the face, the mouth is fantastic. 2 Cool armor. How long did this take you?

13 Jason Ellis replies: "I think it took me about a week, but not continuous, one or two hours a day. The hardest bit was making it neat, especially the armour. The detail is still not all that smooth, but I think it is something I need to refine with future pictures instead of trying to overwork this one. Thankyou for the comment."

EEE hooray for fellow wispy styleness! Even though I must say, you pull it off better than I do. 2You did this one so well...I'm really excited that I was of help for a picture that is so beautifully drawn! Haha I wish my mouth looked like that...and that my eyes were that blue! Awesome picture, yay for you!

1 Jason Ellis replies: "Oh, I think you are a much more elegent wispy styler than I am. And it is great to use someone as a model who likes my work and likes the picture I used them in. I think this is one of my best pictures, so thankyou for the inspiration, Laura. Hah, everyone seems to like the mouth. But your mouth would look like that if it was made of pinkish red anodized aluminium ^^ It was an accident and I decided it looked good. Maybe I should start designing lipsticks... this one is called Luminous Laura. I was actually thinking of changing the eye colour to hazel, to suit the fictional character, but the blue matches the ear-rings ^^ "

I love this piece most of all in your gallery! She's so pretty and the use of red armor suits her very well. Can I have her earrings?=)

Her face is so serene and regal. I love her expression, and the eyes are breathtaking.
