For those of you with a really keen eye, for Strider's pose I used a combination of three sources. First, I played through Strider on a Playstation I and had the VCR recording footage of it. On playback, yes, the pause button rocks. Second, I used the reversed l-to-r pose of one of Elfwood artist Luke McKay's samurai illustrations. Third, I used the 'Iaijutsu Focus' illustration of WAR from the 3rd Edition D&D Oriental Adventures book. With those three sources combined, I colored in the drawing using a friend's Prismacolor markers.
