You keep changing person and tense. It switched from second to third person and you go from present to past tense. I know you wrote that it isn't edited, but I wanted to point this out. I do love your story so far. What's the furres name  John 'Kazen' Blanchard replies: " *rubs the back of his head* Yeah, well...it's a curse that bites me every time I start writing. I really don't like staying in one tense for some strange reason, even if I try to. I'm going to edit it pretty soon, actually, I'm going to edit all of my stories O.o; Accursed english teachers. Learned the hard way about tenses @.@ I ment to write something in past tense, but I started the first sentence off in present by mistake, the entire story was handed back to me with everything switched to present tense >/ Red marks everywhere all because of one word O.O; I'll work on it! ^^

I was particularly impressed that you managed to make me read a sci-fi-style story (Lacuna Animus) from start to finish. You have a very engaging style! My only suggestions would be grammatical (there's a tense switch from past to present at the end of 'The Snow' which seems a little out-of-place) and linguistic - 'lacuna' and 'animus' are both nouns, so 'lacuna animi' might be better ('hole/something missing -of- memory', not 'hole, memory'). Great stuff - please let me know when you update! And merry Christmas!
