  | This is the original version of the piece. I later had to do a second version because the photographer whose image was manipulated for the background never answered when I asked if I could be granted print rights. The faerie and her wings were completely hand painted and a photo by Lady Sivali Stock on Deviant Art was used as a reference for the character. I have vowed to never paint anything that's stripey again. LOL This gave me fits shading across the stripes. Created in Paint Shop Pro 9. There's a snippet of story with this piece on my art site.
