"Water Magick" by Jolie E. Bonnette

I made this for the "Water" Weekly Themed Challenge over at Dazaholics. Well, this challenge has taught me something: I SUCK at painting water. I didn't have a posable water prop to make the splashes, so they were painted. Even looking at references, I just can't seem to do water very skillfully. That being the case, I'm not totally happy with the piece. Once I have a better computer and some water props, I may revisit this some day. A lot of the issues it has were due to having to cobble it together because the computer kept eating the full render. Despite my misgivings on the lack of quality on the water Water Magic got a feature For the Weekly Themed Challenge!

Rendered in DAZ|Studio with postwork in Paint Shop Pro. I then ran it through Fantastic Machines Paint Engine for a more painterly look.
