very cool gallery you have here
I love all the colors and the whimsical-ness of your pics. Do you think you'll ever get back to that goal of being a professional artist? John M Carter
replies: "Goals change. I'm working to improve my abilities for now. I'll see where it goes from there. I'd rather treat it as a hobby for the time being. Can't be a starving artist with Kids to raise and all."

Amazing gallery you have here! I love your style. Your pictures look like they have been made as illustrations for some stories. Just great work! ^^ John M Carter
replies: "That's an encouraging compliment. Thank you."

Do you ever get any cracks about edgar rice boroughs? Sorry. Weird, I have the same condition! Truck driver trapped in this mortal hide..cursed mortal hide. the miles are driving me crazy, but you cant beat the drawing time! ok, seriously. I love the sheer imagination and creativity in your work. No school for you either huh? the truck driving to provide is good, but I wish I could break free somehow. God has blessed you bro. Be safe out there...I know all about the driving at the wheel thing, now many are terrified to know there are truckers out there not paying attention to the road...he,he,he John M Carter
replies: "Spent some time trying to make the connection with Edgar Rice Burroughs, but I'm drawing a blank. He wrote Tarzan and similar books around the turn of the century. (looked it up) You sir, are the very first one to give me a crack about him, and you will always hold that position of honor with me. Truckers can multi-task, so theres nothing to fear when we are seen drawing at the wheel. "

Wow. All I can say is wow. Your work is truly amazing. I looked all all your pieces and found something in each one to make me smile or drop my jaw. The descriptions are an especially nice touch. I love clever poetry. Bravo! When I look at your work I wonder why anyone is curse to have to take art lessons. Maybe we should all learn to drive truck... ^_~ John M Carter
replies: "Thank you. I look back at this stuff and see it a little differently than you do. Wish I had time to re-do all of them. What I see is what I could have done better in each of them. It’s either a curse, or a sign of progress. I hope the latter."

Have any new stuff for us yet, Uncle John? John M Carter
replies: "Yes Sarah. I took a couple years off, but I’m back at it for awhile. Hope you’re doing something with your talent as well."

Hey there, thanks for the comment on my lastest piece. You have a nice gallery, I particulary like the soulmates. John M Carter
replies: "Thanks Matt, your "lastest" piece is a great reflection of your ability with ink. I like your ink work in general."
