If you keep at it your people and peopley-things will be better then mine one day." | |
| 1 Apr 2004 | Dusty ´Zalein´ Griffinson | Loading...Your art is very very good, but I can't help but to comment that your characters seem to be slightly.. well, some of them are morbid and others are angels. I mean, their pretty cut very clearly white and black, when life mainly isin't like that... I think that your imagination is very good when it comes to what you are drawing. Jessica 'JCat' Butler replies: "Ummm thant you. You have no idea what goes on in my mind. Just wait until I update it." | |
| 1 Jun 2004 | Jeff Cox | Loading...I really like your characters; the style of them is strong and very eye pleasing. all I can suggest is this: when coloring, the light areas in the pic are light, but the dark areas aren't as dark as they should be. there's not enough definition for the viewer to feel in the color. darken your shadows a bit more and let them create details the pencil you sketched with couldn't create on it's own. if the color pencil you're using doesn't create this feel, switch to a darker color (I.E.- red to scarlett) and go over the top of the lighter color. I feel this would even further give your pictures that powerful feeling they portray. hope this is some help to you, and say hi to gungirl for me! | |
