| 22 Jan 2005 | Sidian Mehli | Loading...I think that perhaps the purple and green are a -bit- too bright, but not quite to the degree the previous poster believes. It reminds me of the bright, vivid colours everything takes on after a rainstorm. The green of all the leaves and the grass suddenly gets almost flourescent. So do all other colours with any hint of brightness in them - while darker browns, greys, etc. seem to get even more dull, washed out, and almost hazy. I think that's more of what's going on here, at least in my eye. I don't know whether it was intentional or not, but for me, it gives this piece a whole extra layer of atmosphere. Well done. | |
