	[11in x 15in watercolor] This is a painting of an individual that I saw at a local Medieval Faire.

18 Nov 2002	Dante Rushdan	Loading... The green in the background may be a little too neon, but then again, the scan may have done it. I love this pic! The guy looks like he would be a real person (which he is) instead of some perfectly proportioned muscular manly dude. Very well done. Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "Yep, the green is especially bright looking next to that purple too."
22 Jan 2005	Sidian Mehli	Loading... I think that perhaps the purple and green are a -bit- too bright, but not quite to the degree the previous poster believes. It reminds me of the bright, vivid colours everything takes on after a rainstorm. The green of all the leaves and the grass suddenly gets almost flourescent. So do all other colours with any hint of brightness in them - while darker browns, greys, etc. seem to get even more dull, washed out, and almost hazy. I think that's more of what's going on here, at least in my eye. I don't know whether it was intentional or not, but for me, it gives this piece a whole extra layer of atmosphere. Well done.
