| 22 Jun 2006 | Ania | Loading...I love this piece... the way you drew her and how she seems deep in thought and sadness, it gives you a sense that you can almost relate to her, in a way. Great work, I love your other pieces as well, keep doing a great job!! Julee M Clark replies: "Thank you, Ania. Always happy to hear my work can be felt. More to come soon, I promise =)" | |
| 28 Aug 2006 | Laura Soret | Loading...i think this is one of my favourites. I love monocromat..izity (whatever). This queen Mied really reminds me of Princess amidala. You were inspired by it, i suppose? I can only dream of making such beautiful costumes, and i´ve tried. Julee M Clark replies: "I'm glad you like her =) I actually love the Amidala wardrobe, but I don't know how much I credit the guy who drew out her clothing for inspiration so much as I just seem to have a similar taste in cultures and periods as he. I've been told 'Adalia' looks a lot like Amidala. What inspired her was actually the French Princess from Brave Heart. I love clothing design and I study a lot of different fashions and make plenty of hybrids of them. At 14 I thought I might be a clothing designer, maybe I should pick up where I left off on that dream. " | |
