books of spells upon the floor
a cursed symbol on the door
a grey haired man lies on the ground
he has fallen without a sound
an elf lies over the chair
with bright silvery hair
a human runs into the room
behind her lies the darkened gloom
as the light of the pale moon
signals the end of June
the human runs out the door in tears
for she has just met her greatest of fears
she runs through the forest in sobs
as she runs they gather the mobs
and they will find her lovers blood
has disappeared in a puddle of mud
she cries for revenge for her love
but no one will raise a glove
so alone she will go into the dark
to find her lover's life a spark...

::does first comment dance as per what she hopes is Elfwood tradition:: Why no one has commented on this yet I'll never know. It's a beautiful piece, with an eerie, chilling quality to it. Again, you are absolutely great with imagery. However, like the Cursed Blade, this piece needs a little adjusting with the rhythm. It's lovely though. You deserve to get published, you're very talented! =)
