It was almost black in the pale light shining down on them, but he knew that it would shine a deep red in the sun. It wasn't just any rose though, it was the largest bloom in the entire garden, one her mother planned to give to one of her friends as a gift. It also had one unusual feature about it,one of the petals was oddly shaped, looking like a perfect heart.'

What's the deal with "not accepting" this? Just because it isn't straight "fantasy"? It's too beautiful not to put up here---beautiful things need to be shared! This is really lovely work Rachael--the shading is the best part for me. Lovely, lovely...now I'm off to pout because I can only write silly stories instead of draw! 8

Woa- didn't see it at first, was being closed minded and looking for a fey or something in the flower 12. That's so cool- the petal looks really natural but at the same time it does look like a heart.
