When drawing a dragon - like the green one here - so it has its back to the wiever, there should be something of its legs visible, if the dragon doesn´t keep them really tightly under its belly (or if it hasn´t any legs). I think if you put some more work on your dragons´ anatomy, you will soon have some really good ones. Keep going (Live models are always very useful, too bad it´s very hard to find live models for dragons). Jenny E.C Nordin replies: "Thank you for the comment, and well I have try to make som legs on the green dragon, but it dosen't look good - more like something funny sticking out, so that is why I never but legs on a dragon seen from above. But maybe someday I will manage to solv that problem. I think to bigest error with this picture is the light and shadows - they are not right and I did not see this until I submited the picture. Now I will go out on a hunt for live models on dragons, and maybe I will get lucky." | |
