SciFi and Fantasy Art Big Spikey Armor by Jedediah Dougherty

This is a pencil drawing that has been photoshopped.
This is a study of an amazon woman wearing as much armor as possible while still wearing a tiny bikini. I had a lot of fun texturing her armor, but the pose isn't that great.
In the interests of maintaining a fantastical feel to the piece I will note that, as is usual in this type of armor, the spiral patterns and knurls are enchanted to attract blades, arrows and other attacking implements which otherwise might srtike her vulnerable, unarmored areas.

Most of the time when people draw women they're super thin and boney. Amazons should have some muscle =) I love the textures too, very very impressive =)

18 Nov 2003	Stacey Norbur	Loading... I think her pose is great! The colouring is quite nice, too, but what I really like about this picture is the different body type she has. It's not all about being stick thin, actually she looks much tougher with a bulkier frame.
