SciFi and Fantasy Art Dark Elf by Jedediah Dougherty


	A pencil drawing that has been photoshopped. I read a rant somewhere on Elfwood about Dark Elves not necessarily being Drow, and that instead they could be African Elves. This is my attempt at an Elf of Color.

I'm working on a story about an fantasyworld with elves, dwarfs, trolls and some other fantasycreatures (but no humans) and most of my elfs look african, asian or indian. I started this story because I was a bit tired of maledominated fantasy that take place in worlds who looks a bit too much like medieval Europe, and I try make something different, right now I'm influenced by ancient cultures and medieval Japan, the heroine is a bit like a ninja and works as a bodyguard at the queens court.
