	An acrylic painting from 2003. This is a painting of a female Djinni (djinn?) who is being told something by a little bird.

8 Jun 2003	David 'kruzader' Lattka	Loading... Yeah that's right djinn is singular, but some people say jinn, too. By the way, have u ever thought about painting male warriors or creatures ? I mean you don't have to change the body that much. I am sure it would look cool. Jedediah Dougherty replies: "I have painted a few male pictures, and couples- none of them have made it into elfwood yet though. I'll go see if I can scrape some together."
8 Jul 2004	Eileen Megan Steinhauer	Loading... I love how large and thick she is as compared to the tiny little bird on her shoulder. They form a good balance. And I also like how the shape and colour tones of the clouds are echoed in her muscles. And, forgive me for being girly, but I like the pants too! EXCELLENT! Jedediah Dougherty replies: "Thank you: I am glad you noticed the contrast between bird and genie- it is one of the things I was trying for: a sense of scale, and strength next to delicacy. (also, glad you like the pants- they were a good excuse to paint hip-bones.) "
