Tag As FavoriteComment		At first we only saw the legs, moving spiderlike through the forest. But when the creature approached we saw that he body had only been camouflaged against the treetops.
Gracefully it strolled past us, and we were struck dumb with amazement for several minutes.

It is a wonderful picture. I only got the full idea of it when scrolling back to it... but from bottom to the top... 2 Those are some really good looking spider legs.

I have to say, that’s one HELL of an evolutionary defense mechanism! Those spider-like legs look so friggan scary 2
Awesome anatomy use, that it’s just the toes. It looks like it’s actually trying to tip-toe along quietly. I like it!

I’ve been trying to come up with a natural enemy for this one for some time. It was hard. A normal predator could do it no harm. So I had to come up with something very specialized. "
