Joel is a fine art graduate of Mount Allison University and professional animator.
 
 
 
I graduated from Mount Allison University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. I majored in drawing and design. In 2002 I finished a techincal course in character animation. First and foremost I am a cartoonist, but I enjoy several other forms of art as well. I usually work in pencil, and ocacasionally finish with pen and ink, but depending on the work and my mood I also enjoy working with charcoal, chalk, and various different colored mediums. I now color my cartoons digitally using Macromedia Flash MX 2004. One of the best things about placing your work on the Internet is that you get a chnace to recive massive amounts of feedback on the work that you post. That is one of the main reasons that I decided to post some work here at Elfwood back when I was in university. The gallery at present is a bit dated but this is still one of the coolest sites on the web so I've left the gallery up. If you have anything to say, anything at all, please either leave a comment or email me. I am always interested in what people have to say about my work. I apologize for the small size of my gallery, but I a great deal of my work does not comply to the Elfwood fantasy/Sci-Fi guidelines. i really like your work it is beautiful. my favorite is "Nude" I would go to your homepage but as I am computer stupid I cannot with out really good directions so If you want to like email me the site or not thats cool
