Walking down the ranks of the Amazon warriors, the Queen’s High War Priestess rallies the troops with a prayer for good fortune on the battle field. I did this in Mid June 2005 it was started in pencil and then inked and then colored in photo shop. In this piece it was one of my goals to try the feathering technique with the brush and Pen.

Very nice picture! I like how you made the leader stand out of the soldier crowd by giving her this unique outfit.
The viewing angle and the facial expression is also great! I think the only small thing I don't like are the small motion lines of her hammer. You better had erased the lineart there and added a little motion blur effect in colour. That's just nitpicking though.
On the whole it's a fantastic picture. Now where are the amazon battles you mentioned? ^_^

Given that she is a priestess not an archer, I believe she is entitled to leave her cleavage intact. I like that you have the warriors in armour and concealing robes, it's a pleasant change from Amazons in chainmail bikinis.

"It's surging with girls."
"Please sir, can I have one of them surge me, pretty please sir?"
"No, you can't."

Love that line. I think it fits in this setting. I know I wouldn't mind being "surged" by this particular army. ;}

The picture I was talking about was The Eye of Rage.

I am afraid I will have to disagree with everyone else on this picture. The perspective is not very good atoll actually. If you look at the main character it seems like the viewpoint is a little from above, her head and shoulders and torso is quite big in comparison to the lower parts of her body creating the illusion that she is seen from above. However the people in the background is clearly seen from below. I think this could be a stunning picture if she would look as impressive as the soldiers in the background, but now she looks like she is toppling over since the head looks like it is closest to the viewer. You did a awesome job with the perspective in the Horned Rage picture though(did I get that right?) The one with that huge ogre character in. Otherwise I Like the composition and the general feel of the picture. Sorry about the bashing.
