SciFi and Fantasy Art Spartan Savior by Jeff A Porter

What do you do when the human race is on the verge of extinction at the hands of a brutal alien race? I’d call the Maser Chief. Sneaking on board one of the alien cruisers the Master Chief will quell this invasion one alien at a time. The green armored cyborg is the Master Chief from the X-box game Halo, who at the moment is very violently taking care of one of the Covenant invaders. The big shiny blue guy with his lower intestines all over the floor is called a Hunter, they’re one of the tougher villains in the game. The two cowardly smaller creatures are grunts, the workhorse of the Covenant empire. I did this piece in pencil then inked it and then scanned it and colored it in Photoshop in early July 2005.

This is a good picture, but theres been some changes to the hunters. they are a collection of worms, so I don't know how a hunter would get his guts all over the floor. more likely, it'd be his WORMS all over the floor.... thought I should point this out.... HALO 3 ROCKS!!

5 Mar 2009	James Robertson	Loading... the master cheif taking down the hunter is simply amazing and the character to the grunts makes me think they are saying "the warrior is down" . The drama added to the assult rifle is amazing and how he is firing at the hunters weak spot without its armour. One thing is just maybe a bit more orange in the blood but the scene with the crashed banshee in the corner. Maybe the grunts are the talking grunts from the final mission of halo 3 (halo) neer the end, just before the jump round the corner of the stone pillar thing. "I’ll polish your shoes’ I’ll cleen your helmet!" Lol great peice of artwork. Halo Rules so does halo wars (new game)

7 Apr 2010	Anonymous	Loading... Hunters are made up of a collection of 1 meter long worms. When connected, they share a consciousness and become collectively smarter. They also power Scarabs and can be found in Scarab joints. That said, awesome pic.
