Tag As FavoriteComment		In this piece I drew Tetsuo from the story Akira written by Katsuhiro Otomo. Tetsuo, who has by now been engulfed by his uncontrollable megalomania, has single handedly challenged a US Naval carrier group to a fight. The navy desperately tries to do destroy the boy but to no avail. In an awesome display of power, Tetsuo with merely a thought deflects the 30mm rounds and redirects missiles straight back at their ships and planes. I did this one in pen and ink and colored it in Photoshop. I tried to keep it simple similar to Otomo’s style and at the same time incorporate all events that take place in the battle. There’s quite a bit going on here in just this single picture it would probably better spread out over in a series of panels.

Very nice picture, but is'nt it the other arm that was mutating?
