This is a piece I did for my computers in design class; we had to make a space travel poster. I couldn’t think of better way to see the universe than to join the Space Marines.

This is a chaplain from the tabletop miniature strategy game Warhammer 40,000 from games workshop. The space ships are also from the game as well.

I drew in pencil then went over it with ink with a brush and pen and colored it in Photoshop. I finished it in November 2005.

I love how the space marine is just standing there behind them. It amuses me.

This is AWESOME! I almost fell of my chair when i saw it. The artwork is really good and i like the proportions of the space marine. Sometimes its really hard to get and you see marines with to big shoulder pads or to big/small bolters. Also sometimes the head is to small and it looks silly. But anyway, yours is really good. And about space marine recruitment, people are just chosen. Few enough people survive as it is without them wasting resources on all the weaklings who want to join and get killed in the first week. But anyway, nice job.

Hilarious. You just KNOW they have posters like that kicking all around the galaxy.

(Unrelated: It’s funny that someone said they prefer the Necrons and Tau, because those are the ones I hate the most. Lulz.)

Very funny man!

Why do all the nerds/Fanboys here keep having to point out that space marines don’t enlist. I’m sure the illustrator knows the fluff.

I think its a jab at the army/navy/airforce recruitement posters.

You fanboys are too serious! Smile and laugh a little.

You can’t enlist to become a Space Marine, you are chosen by the chapter, and that’s a Chaplain, he’s carrying the Crozius Arcanum.
