I can't be the first, can I? Your sense of descriptive style in The Farewell is terrific, and The Birth of the Owl is well done. I suggest you write some more!

Hi im Aeneldor the shattered mage...anyway I suppose you want to know what this is about, well have some patience an old man is slow to speak at times but you simply must listen more carefully...ah but there I go on a Rambling Rampage eh?
