A quick poem i wrote about human nature as a whole. There is an overall symbolism in there though i'm not sure if you'll catch it right away.

Innocence is Lost,
While the Evil Reign Supreme.
Everyone is Blinded,
By the Darkness that’s Unseen.

A small little Child,
Who's major Faults are Few.
Finally sees the Evil,
and tells the Others what he Knew.

But before he got a Word out,
Before he had a Chance to Fight.
He was Beaten to the Ground,
And murdered in the Night.

He was Slaughtered like an Animal,
Dying, bruised, and Bleeding.
Blamed to be some Fearsome Beast,
Though he died Crying and Pleading.

For the thing He spoke was Crazy,
They wished not to Believe.
That the Beast that they were fearing,
Was just Themselves Deceived....

17 May 2004	Tasha-Ann N. Torres	Loading... Wow! Incredible! I'm pretty sure I got 'a' message but I don't know if it is the one that you were trying to say. Very good poem! You should get some sort of award for this. Very nice! Jenny (Jeni) Watson replies: "Well "A" message is perfect. People view different things when they stare at the same picture. Should go the same with poetry right? Right."
18 Sep 2004	E Purington	Loading... Powerful. I love poems that can be analyzed, and this one screamed at me. Although the screaming was a bit incoherent, I am pretty sure I understand. //A small little Child// is a very good line, it shows innocence, however, it is repetitive, //small little// Just something to ponder ^_^ I see this is old by the first comment. Very nice rhymes, but the rhythm was a tad jarring in..the second stanza, I think. Very good poem. So sad Cheers Jenny (Jeni) Watson replies: "Thank you. I see a few errors in it myself now that i look back on it. Thanks again for your advice, and im glad you enjoyed it at least. "
