Plant-aliens have landed, but why would the fae care about that? So in touch with themselves, the land, love and spirit, they feel the aliens are completely normal. Oh well.. One plant is desperately trying to get a conversation started and a few others have already wandered off trying to communicate with whatever beings they come across (like the trees)... ..Scanned badly, clouds almost completely lost (my pretty clouds!), the pic wasn't entirely straight either when I scanned it.. *frowns*

Cute idea! I like the fairy's expression.....as though she is thinking, did that plant just talk? No, couldnt have....i think. She looks a little concerned.
The caption is a nice touch!

:-) Jennifer Lindroos replies: "LOL!! ;D Actually, in the original she's smiling more, but the scanner is connected to the wrong program so the scans come out terrible. Love your interpretation of her look! ;D And thanks so much for commenting.. 2"

Ooh! I love fae pictures and this one is very good. Love the hair!! She doesn't seem to realize that the plant is talking to her though hehe 2

:-) Jennifer Lindroos replies: "*L* Yes, exactly.. 2 (doesn't realize)"

This is great!!! It's a whole scene with lots going on. It really tells a story. You should work on this one, methinks. It would make a good illustration for a short story or illustrated story book.

:-) Jennifer Lindroos replies: "Thank you so much for the encouragement! Makes me inspired to re-do it properly and continue drawing in general.."

I think it's a neat idea for faeries to have no differentiation between normal and alien fauna! 1 You should darken the lines a little so it's easier to see.

:-) Jennifer Lindroos replies: "Hmm! It came to me that way naturally, didn't realize she could be reacting very differently until now.. (Not that I have been thinking about it much. 10) And you're absolutely right about the lines, I scanned this before I knew the trick of how to use Photoshop to darken lines."

*LOL* Looks like she's about to play the he-loves-me, he-loves-me-not game! Poor lil' alien. Mwah!

Now this is cute... I quite like it and the idea 2 (and the little comment under the fae), it would be cool to see a better scan of this..

Very cute, unique idea. Great concept, and the drawing is splendid.
