Tag As FavoriteComment		Drawn with Zig microns on Vellum, then colored on the back of the vellum with prismacolor pencils. This creates a more subtle, but smooth look, it's really fun to do. Inspired by a Quetzal. Gorgeous birds.

I was searching "quetzal" on the ’Wood, and this beautiful creature came up on the screen. I have a resplendent quetzal tattooed on my back--a reminder of my trip to Latin America. I wish I could show you a picture. He’s not quite as majestic as your creation, but he’s my Sancho and I love him.

Sorry ’bout that creep-tastic comment. I just thought I should share my connection with your artwork.
