Hi, there. I decided to join Elfwood after hearing about it from my roomate, who is also a member over in Lothlorien. I was thrilled to find out that you've got a section for writers like myself, since I can't draw to save my life. Mostly, I write poems, and backgrounds for characters that I play online, which is my other hobby. Sometimes, one inspires the other, though this can work both ways. I hope you enjoy what I have posted, and welcome comments, though I do ask that criticism be of the constructive sort.

UPDATE Jan 27, 2001: Well, I've added two new pieces over the past week, 'The Ancient One' and 'Forest For The Trees'. The first is a freeverse poem, the second is a very short little story that I wrote while bored. I've started replying to some of my comments, though only the recent ones and, so far, only on the new works. A HUGE thank you to James, for pointing people in my direction.

UPDATE Jan 28, 2001: I've found the original copy of Tomorrows I and replaced the one that got messed up. The whole story is now there.. at least, as much of it as exists.

With but a few works present, you are already far along here. I do wait for more, and know it will be good, when it comes. <~~}2~

Stopped in hoping to find more than three posted here -- have already read these and can only hope you post some more... It won't be hard to get me to return (especially if you lure me in with poetry)...

Was hoping for poetry, but will certainly settle for "Tomorrows I"... Keep writing, Jenny!!

I find it hard to believe no one has left a comment for you in nearly three months, Jenny... Maybe I'll just have to point some people this way...

Thanks, James. I'll have to return the favour..

Well, Jenny, seems I am not the first one beckonned by James up there. Don't worry, you will probably have quite a few people here very soon! I wish I had more time to read your stuff, but I'll be back!

Thanks, Michelle. He's been sending a lot of folks my way.

As the "Freeverse Wizard of Canada" (Thanks, James =)) I have to say that I absolutely adore your style, Jenny. You have a very definite gift, and it makes me want to lock your talent in a bottle and keep it for myself.

*chuckle* Thanks... I think. What does one do with bottled talent?

I really like your writtings...that's probably why I commented on most of them! Anyway, your poems are the best of the lot! Esp Conundrums! That's so absolutely major FUNNY!! Keep 'em coming, Jenny!

Thanks, Harpreet! Glad you liked it.

It's 1am here and I'm going to bed, but I have started on your library and I will come back and finish it another night. James was right well worth a visit.... You know what? Maybe it's time for me to think seriously about taking Basically insane digital? It could work..... I'll have to ponder on that one.... I'll be back2

Glad you stopped by, Tansy. Hope to see you again soon.

I think some people, and by 'some people', I think I mean 'me', think that volume of poetry is a good thing... I don't think that's a good thing. But, reading your scarse poems I caught glimpse only of your style, which I tend to like, but wish more were there. You know? Only so many poems can this one person relate to, and with so few poems, how could I feel other than sad at what I know I'm not seeing? -If you did want to post more, I would secretly sneak back and acquaint myself once more, and perhaps understanding, feel better about myself, you know, and reading... abort, abort, goodbye

Dear Jenny,

Thank you for putting a smile on me this morning, over here in Beijing. Keep up the good works.

Best regards,
Bebop.
