Tag As FavoriteComment		A dark elf character I created. She has a shadowy past -just as her name (translated means 'shadow jewel' suggests). Her hair is jet black, her skin is almost white, and her eyes are as grey as an impending storm. Woooo...sweet description, no?

Once again, my evil scanner has warped this stunning if not amature rendition of the character. (*sigh* Ever have a time where you can perfectly invision a character in your mind, but your hand just doesn't want to aggree?) Anyway, you can't see all of the shading around her eyes and nose. *grr* But the original...I love it. Enjoy!

i think this is your best piece. the way you did the hair was realistic and from what josh tells me you use a graphite pencil, which makes the piece more impressive due to the fact that it's a harder medium to draw with. Her eyes seem cock-eyed though. and the shading towards the bottom becomes haphazard and the lines are no longer crisp.


but past that i eat cotton candy ice cream.

15 Jerri Grace Reynolds replies: "I...see. Yeah, graphite is pretty much the ONLY pencil I use because there's no annoying sharpening to bother with. 10Cock eyed. Hmm. I'm not familiar with that expression. But anyway, I've done some re-touches on the picture (changed her eyes, for one) and will be uploading that when I start back to college.Thanks for your comment!"
