	This is a picture of a half mermaid which was requested by a viewer. Perhaps when I have a little more time on my hands, I'll finish inking and color it.

26 Aug 2002	JC	Loading... She's cute! I can't wait for the final version!! Why is she a half-mer? It kinda looks like she has scaled legs, maybe with finned feet? I like the half of her that's fishy, namely the fins on her arms and her webbed hands! Lovely work! I'm glad you have a fancy for mermaids!! Jerri Grace Reynolds replies: "Thanks for your feedback! She's a half mermaid because...well, that's what the person who requested her wanted. ^_^ I found the description that the person gave me quite intriguing and I had to give it a go. And as for fancying mermaids...don't tell anyone, but when I was little, I wanted to BE one! ^_^* I kinda still do! LOL"

29 Sep 2002	Suzuki	Loading... I'm the one who said the description. Well, here goes! According to the Mermaid book "The Seductress," Half-mermaids have "webbed hands and feet" and legs covered in fish scales.

Jerri, you should've drawn her with her feet visible...dangling out front off a rock, or her sitting with her knees bent, feet flat on ground to show the webbed feet. Jerri Grace Reynolds replies: "Yeah, I agree. I'll probably draw another picture of her in order to show off her physique more."
