Jessica your art is really cool me personally like drawing scenery and actual humans, But I could take a lesson on drawing eyes.

I'm writing a comment here not because I know anything about fantasy art, but because I like the artist. You're cool, Jessica!

This is very interesting site.
Out the drawings I've seen so far I would rate your's a 7 on a scale 1-10.You need to work on your realism. When you put realism into your drawings you can get more feelings into them. Right now all the character you get out of them is just SMUG.
One thing you could try is to put more muscle tone into the characters and it will put more realism into it.
And another put some background into it.

P.S. Not trying to get you down but everyone needs a critic.

Jessica, he's not completely right, but I do think you can do better. Not trying to drop the brick on you like him. I'll tell you what I'll start drawing elves and see what I learn, then give you the results.

Whoa,what happened. You've just blown through the basement on the status pole. Okay, me personally I'm not an artist but just because you got a position at Elfwood doesn't mean you can sit on you pencil. I've seen your work before these latest drawings, so don't give the excuse "It's the best I can do."

Okay, first of all, Is that lady bloated, not the belly dancer but the other one? Come on use some realism here. Sure it's fantasy, but Humans are good models for elves.

Second, I know your friend or what ever requested the belly dancer but I've never imagined one as an elf! With fantasy sure you want to think of the impossible, but that idea stinks.

well Requim can shove his/her comment some where we don't want to know about XP. i like year art is original!!!XD and just to rain of Reguim's life happiness ....(bwgahahahaha)... most elves you see in pictures of in books of any sort are dressed like belly dancers even if they r not its just how they look it the beautiful sexy look you know... know back to you my love... keep up the work i hope to see more!and hay if u want u can use some of my art as a reference! love

I enjoy your work, and I find that it can be dramatically pleasant to see what I would see merely with my eyes or what you see with yours. Art is not a reproduction of reality, but rather, a glimpse of it, through the veil of the soul.
