| 19 Dec 2003 | James Jandreau | Loading...Pretty cool drawring. I wasn't sure of what to expect from the thumbnail, but I have not been disappointed. He looks pretty solid, and you've done a pretty good job on the shading. If you lightened up some of the highlights I think it might make it seem even more three dimensional than he is already. The symetry looks pretty good and that can be pretty hard on a straight frontal drawring like this one. One way to avoid that is to do the drawring at a slight angle, or a 3/4 angle. This is done so that you still see him from the front, but since you are looking from a diferent perspective it is harder to pick up asymetrical things. Such as armoured shoulder plates, horns on helmets, eyes, and so on. You've done it well with your Dakaden and Toby In Action. Good job. Do you have any plans on colouring him? | |
