My Phoenix
A fiery stare with such cooling eyes,
With a chivalrous mouth that tells no lies.
Wings of hope and eyes of glory,
Each virtuous feather tells a story.
Phoenix from high above,
Guide me with your love.
Show me your intense light,
And help these wings take flight.
Flames flicker softly from within your soul,
Only near to that heart of gold.
You make me swoon every time you're near,
You light my hopes and dwindle my fears.
Your eyes are my light in the dark,
Your soft voice sings like a lark.
My phoenix that I so greatly adore,
Thanks for listening to all I implore.
