If you have problems with hands an mouth try to copy from photographs and draw one sheet full of hand and mouth just for practice. I know it's not easy but that's the I improoved. I like your way of drawing clothes and hair! I hope you don't mind my criticism I just want to help ) Keep on drawing! )Thank you! :0) I'll have to try that.... anything to get out better hands and mouths is worth a try! :0) Thank you for the advice! I love getting advice... it helps me to grow! :0)

Have come to return the favour I must say I really enjoy the highlights you did on the dressess in your drawings. I find those very hard to do myself and usually smudge things up lately. (lack the patience) So I have ended up doing shading instead of highlighting. Thanks again for offering me to be part of your tour. Sorry I emailed you twice It's just such an honour it got me completly confused Jessica Voge replies: "Thank you! I find it hard too. . . I have a lack of patience too. . . Can't really do shading either, but I'm getting better. . . slowly. I'm honored that you think its an honor! :0)"

| 23 Dec 2004 | Ilze A. Pukite | Loading...Hello! You dropped by and said you wanted to do an art trade, and so I simply HAD to come here and check everything out! I would've commented on all the pictures, but I don't know that many compliment words and it would've got boring! ^^; I was wondering if I could draw Loki or Winter... I'm not sure which yet. I love them both! I like your style, alot, alot alot, keep it up! I'm proud of you for coloring... I'm scared of color! The colored pencils are gonna eat me! Mommyyyyy!!!!!!! Ok I'm done. ^_~ So can I draw your Winter or Loki? E-mail me and we'll figure out the details k? If you still want to do the trade, that is. ^_^ Oh, and a tip for mouths- do just the top lip shap, you know, with the long curvy (curved down like smiles) sides, and the little 'v' in the middle. then, just do a small line on the bottom. Curve the sides harder to make the person smiling, or just do one side to give a lopsided grin, angle them down to make them sad, do a little round mouth for surprise, etc. I hope this helps! Talk to you soon! Jessica Voge replies: "Hiya there! Of course you can do one of those ones! Thank you muchly for the tips about the mouth. I have a horrible tendency (as I'm sure you noticed) to just do a generic not smiling, not sad mouth. Toodles,Jessica" | |
