"Dreams Of Altier Introduction" by Jessi ´LaLuna´ Fila

In a world very much like earth, magic and technology walk hand in hand. Though limited technology, the people rely on magic at times to help go about their daily lives. In some areas the people of this world can only some electric power, mostly light and warm homes in the harsh cold winters. They get this by way of wind and water powered electricity. Phones are limited since a simple wire cannot connect all the continents together. And strangers roam the nightly streets with firearms and revolvers. This world is called Terrath, and it is home to many different races.

However due to this worlds many races, it has become separated by look and culture is connected by only one thing. A Dream. A single dream, one which is shared by every man, woman, and child, comes to them in their sleep. This dream is of a voice in the darkness that spans out across the skies of blue and fields of green. The voice calls itself Altier and is always asking to be found. Most of the people choose to ignore the voice claiming that it's nothing more then a dream and go about their everyday lives.

Those who believe in the voice in the dream have formed the Cult of Altier. And claims that it is a state of being and if people wish for a salvation or inner peace they'll pray and do other selfless things. Though bright and loving they claim it to be there are those who feel that Altier is a weapon. Some people wish to claim it was a weapon, so that they may rule over all lands. While others want to find it so they can destroy it. Meanwhile Altier is still calling out to the people.
