Jamie Foley

I suppose it's hard to say I draw inspirating from anything in particular but rather a little bit of everything. In the past several years I have turned more to the classics, reading authors such as Hemingway and Faulkner, Henry James and Oscar Wilde, along with a plethora of Russians. From this I've reached the conclusion that the best of stories are those for which you have to smile at the end, perhaps happily, for your soul has grown wiser from time spent before a few drops of blurred ink on paper.

October 20th, 2005 - I'm updating at last!  Hope I haven't kept everyone waiting!  The new story I've got up, 'The Coda', was really interesting to write and I hope it's as interesting to read.  For those of you visiting for the first time, I really would suggest you read either that one or "As a God" as those are my favorites at the moment, however if you don't have the time then the short interview below is somewhat interesting, though I'm thinking of reworking it slightly.  Hope you enjoy whatever you come across!
