Cat's a warm guy at heart, you know, kinda sweet if you know genuine cypunks, street slags, or even free-lance assassins (yeah, they're all real. Some of them even enjoy DeviantArt and Elfwood). Makes you wonder if he really could have survived where he did. Still... I read the first two, and kid's got a kind of strength he doesn't even know. You don't go through his kid-side story and come out with a full working head, heart and hope (and a fully loaded personality aside) lest you got something stronger than any merce.
My point: The picture is sweet enough, a razor survivor who keeps to himself and keeps a watch of everything inside and out without paranoia. Works well for a street or bar thug (with a dash of class). I simply think it lacks the personality that makes the cat Cat.
Artistically? You'd make one interesting c-strip watercolor artist. Just try on sharper contrast of color and lines with less given detail for classic, or more elegantly intricate details for a more photosurrealistic poster. | |
