Tag As FavoriteComment		Another mermaid from my sorta-series of mermaids from around the world... this one has the tail of a Bosemani Rainbowfish, from Australia. Hence the Aborigine body/makeup.

Not actually terribly happy with it, but...

Some people say the fish body looks awkward...I believe this would look better if the lady were thicker around the human torso. Aborigine are a squat race. Nice work nonetheless!

Different and cool. You probably should have a little less of the fish body so it doesn’t look like you chopped off the fish head and stuffed the girl into it. Otherwise it’s awesome.

If you actually look at a Boesmani fish they look just like that! Not every mermaid has to be skinny and perfect! I LOVE THE GIRL PART TOO!!!!

So pretty! I love the way the light shines through the water. Just a note though, I’m pretty sure M. Bosemani are from Papua New Guinea.
