Jill Johansen replies: "Indeed there shall be Celtic gods! The Morrigan will have one of the larger Celtic roles, and we will also be including some characters from (pre-Christianized) Arthurian legend, like Culhwch and Olwen. "

| 11 May 2004 | Thomas H. Saxon | Loading...This is great, it has a comic-book feel without over much of the animé style that seems to be taking over the indipendant cominc industry recently. This is really cool. How much varied cultural mythology are you using in the comic? And, to allow you to further plug & market your comic, and express some intrest of my own, how much are issues, and how many pages per issue? Jill Johansen replies: "Thank you, I am glad you like it =DWe are including as many mythologies as we can, we don't want to exclude anyone. Though due to space, not all of them will find their way into issue one. Because of the logistics of the larger story though, the Norse and Christian gods will be featured most prominently throughout. But many of the gods will have spotlight issues, where we get to learn more about them, even if they are not one of the 'star' characters that actively drives the larger plot. The Thor and Hanuman spotlight issues will be a LOT of fun! =DThe series, if we are able to continue it will be anywhere from 48 to 60 issues, depending on story and popularity. We are willing to commit 4 or 5 years, at a monthly release. We are trying to be the most 'mainstream' indy comic on the racks, so each issue will have 22-24 story pages, of 32. with some additional pages left over for ads, and bonus material like character sketches and the like. I'm guessing since you have a Hell and Cerebus, you have a Hades? And is Satan in it? Even just to annoy Jesus? And is it only Gods, or other characters from different mythology, say, Beowulf?
I really REALLY like the idea of this comic, will it be in stores in the UK?
