"Kentauroi - Brom Modelsheet" by Jill Johansen

I realized a little while ago that there was a grievous oversight in the Kentauroi pictures I had submitted to my gallery - no Brom! He's the second most prominent character in the story, yet I had uploaded no pictures of him. This aims to rectify that situation. Part of the problem is that he has been a difficult character to pin down. If you look at early pictures of him, such as this (laughably bad) picture, you can see he never even had feathered feet in the beginning. And his face... it didn't settle into it's cuurrent form until pretty recently. Which is why some of the sketches are a bit off-model, they're a bit older. Be glad I took all this time to design characters, locations and stuff, even if it meant a long delay until launch. This is a MUCH better looking character than he would have been if I had just dove in. He's also got nicer armor now.

As a character, Brom is kind of aggressively and infectiously cheerful and optimistic, also kind of a flirt, a ladies man. He's good looking, knows it, and is a bit vain, though he would NEVER admit to it. He likes to help others and tends to adopt a lot of problem cases, and he's attracted to people he sees as puzzles to be solved. He's smarter than a lot of people give him credit for, just not in a book-learning sort of way. People tend to think of him as dumb muscle, but he's very perceptive and good at deductive reasoning.
