Here's an interesting character who is cursed to wear a medallion which renders her completely mute. The catch is (if that's not one already) if she removes the medallion, she turns into a male. Very, very interesting to play. Ain't she cute? I hope no one misses the irony of a male calico, by the way.

Another pretty one...although if I were her, I'd keep the medallion on, who wants to be male AND sterile. There really wouldn't be any great functional advantage to that particular morph would there? Besides what sane female would ever want to be a male? Well done, Miss Jilly, you even capture the look of superior female intelligence.

Wait...if male calicos are always sterile, how can calicos not go extinct? Or do the females just make clones? O.o

:-) Jillianne L. Arden replies: "Actually, good question... However, the fact that there are no male calicos stresses that point... All calicos are female, or so I've been lead to believe. I believe the color pattern is gender dominant."

Well, stubborn ans curious as I am, I searched for an encylcopedia on cats in my room, and I foun one. It says here that only 1 in 200 calicos is male. Though some people see them as a 'vuilnisbakkenras' (I believe the translation is 'mongrel'), they're officially a race, but very hard to breed, because of the fact there are so little males.
As for the picture, it's great! I love the colours and the pose. Really well done.

Oh, who cares about the science of calicos!?
As a catgirl fan (meow!), I have to say this is one of my favorites. Well done! (meow!)

Cool! She is soo cute! My cousin has a male calico character too he’s pissed off because he is the only one and can’t breed. ^^ pretty weird story.
