| 1 Dec 2004 | E.J. | Loading...Ya what she said *points obve my comment* Pheonix could be bugs's girl-friend. Her names Lola. Still pretty well done though. Jill Johansen replies: "With all due respect to the people who have suggested Lola Bunny as an female alternative for Phoenix's X-Toon - it ain't happening. I don't consider Lola to be a 'real' Looney Tunes character, since she only first appeared in Space Jam. (I think that was her only appearance, actually) Ditto to Tiny Toons characters. It was a great show, but it does not count either as far as this goes. the Looney Tunes were picked not just to be cute, but because I REALLY like them. a lot. and mostly because of the people who were writing, directing and animating them back in the day. So to me, the only Looney Tunes that count were the ones from the shorts made back during the 30's-60's. With Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng, Bob Clampett, Tex Avery and the rest at the helm, and with Mel Blanc providing damn near all the voices. I take this very seriously. :-P" | |
