and another in my series of X-Toons! Well, you simply CAN'T have the X-Men without a Jean Grey, now can you? Unfortunately though, there are very few female Loony Tunes characters. so I had to do a little gender bending with Tweetie here... :)

it has come to my attention that the X-Toons and in particular, Tweetie/Phoenix here, have been spreading across the net like wildfire, sometimes altered. hence the new addittion of the Bronzepig logo to ALL of my pics, and really cracking down onimage security at my private gallery. You can thank the thoughtless art thieves for that. I would appreciate it if you find it somewhere besides, here, my home page, or the altered version at The Darkest Hour, if you would please tell me where you got it. I realize this is the kind of pic that is likely to spread, Fan Art has a tendency of doing so becuase people love the characters depicted... but i do ask for the simple courtesey of atleast *asking* first before you go posting it on your X-Men page. tell me exactly where it will be used and in what capacity and I will link to your site on my main gallery page. the logo stays tho.

Ya what she said *points obve my comment* Pheonix could be bugs's girl-friend. Her names Lola. Still pretty well done though.

:-) Jill Johansen replies: "With all due respect to the people who have suggested Lola Bunny as an female alternative for Phoenix's X-Toon - it ain't happening. I don't consider Lola to be a 'real' Looney Tunes character, since she only first appeared in Space Jam. (I think that was her only appearance, actually) Ditto to Tiny Toons characters. It was a great show, but it does not count either as far as this goes. the Looney Tunes were picked not just to be cute, but because I REALLY like them. a lot. and mostly because of the people who were writing, directing and animating them back in the day. So to me, the only Looney Tunes that count were the ones from the shorts made back during the 30's-60's. With Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng, Bob Clampett, Tex Avery and the rest at the helm, and with Mel Blanc providing damn near all the voices. I take this very seriously. :-P"

Great work, both on the technical aspects of the rendering and the originality of the idea. Very fresh and well-executed.
