SciFi and Fantasy Art Raye Gunn - CoH Style by Jill Johansen

I turned that girl in the 'Raye Gunn vs. the Squid Creature' picture that I did for Warren Ellis's Strange Machine thing into a character for the game City of Heroes, because cheesy pulp sci-fi is fun. I could not get some of the costume details the same, so her costume is a bit different, but the basics remain.... Only much more pink. =p And there is no costume option for either space helmets or jet packs/oxygen tanks, so.... but there is a sort of helmet coming in the next update, it's not a bubble style helmet, but it's something, so hey!

She's a rad/rad defender, currently level 32, and I play her on the Virtue server. I submitted this to the CoH folks to see if they would include it in the back of the comic in the fan art submissions. It got picked for display on the website but I am not sure if it got picked for the comic or not.... I haven't gotten recent copies to check.

I'm willing to draw other people's characters, for a reasonable fee.
