I submitted this on dA for the "altered anatomy" club. Yay! And elf traded his mortality and soul for more magic and this is the result - not pretty.

He must've seen himself in the mirror and got some form of lockjaw...

Neat idea James! What a fiend!

He's regrettin' that one now ain't he? At first a perfect face with perfect features, then he turns all teeth with an underbite. I'll bet he eats kids, doesn't he?

:-) James R. Inwood replies: "Not really. The magic has twisted his sanity a tiny bit so his physical appearancce doesn't disgust him in any way. Yep, both Orc and Elf and Human."

Heehee... well, kind of, but also, *shakes head*. The picture is very unique and the creature is visibly packed with intense anger/hatred. Or madness. The story behind it is very sad, though, and while I suppose he got what he deserved... and while he doesn't really mind that anyone that sees him will run away screaming... it really reflects, in a very literal way, the corrupting ability of power. That was a very human thing for an elf to do.
