I was trying to get to sleep at 5:30 a.m. this morning, and this poem jumped through me mind, so I wrote it down real quick before I forgot it.

Hyper high-pitched squeaks

The monotone question of the owl

Music to fall asleep to

The gray of twilight

Before true dawn

Relishing the filtered light

Alas, my coffin awaits

Pressure from my blinding enemy

I sleep without dreams

Temporary death

Hey, I've been here before! I'm still waiting for you to write more about your little elf girl and her tiger ^^

Well congratulations on Mod's choice here! I'm not much for reading poems, mostly because people try to get too complicated and I don't uderstand what they are about by the time I get to the end, but this is very simple, easy to understand, and I like it very much.

:-) Christina K. Thornton replies: "Thanks much. I'll write some more on it, now that I know some one is interested. 1"

Just wanna point out before I go into the whole "omg-this-is-so-great-mode" that monotone in the second line is kinda weak there, it just is far to dry of a word to use ther. Other than that this is great and u should stay up 'till 5180 more often!!

:-) Christina K. Thornton replies: "Hehe, I was on spring break at the time, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to for a while. Yus, I think I agree with you after looking it over."

Very nice. I suggest you visit Lilith's Lair.net, an ezboard community of Dark Art and Literature. I know your work would be appreciated there.

:-) Christina K. Thornton replies: "I'll have to check it out sometime. Than-q."

my eyes are blinded by the sorrowful attempts you make to dra, your poem awaits the bottomless pit we call trash. Your fingers hold the talent of infant fingers into the six finger darkness you shall arise... into first grade finger painting. You would do us kindness going blind.

Well what can I say. I am obsessed with vampires. I adore the poem. I absolutely little skill with poetry. I also know the seemingly random ideas that appear at the early hours between night and day. It seems vampire's live at that moment in time for I tend to think up little bits and pieces for vampire stories at that time. May the vampires grant you more wonderful poetry.

Very nice use of words. Both eloquent and chilling at the same time. Very nice!

I really like this poem on vampires because it seems pretty interesting when it comes to the undead but who may still walk the earth and all. So good job.
