Tag As FavoriteComment		I sketched a full version of a mermaid. I'm really starting to like the idea of mermaids being more amphibian like. I went ahead colored this picture even though I didn't ink it. The background is a little sparce, but I kinda like it.

From a biology point of view mammals are a couple of steps away from amphibians. Only mammals have mammary glands, and by extension breasts. Then again, that's the beauty of fantasy, you can do almost whatever you like.People often forget there no limits and rules when it comes to fanatasy.

I really like her hair and her lower fishlike body.
Though, I looked at the serpent a second time and it looks a lot like an eel.
