| 10 Feb 2003 | Jemanem | Loading...Ja, das ist gut! i think you little things you did in paint are good anyway! what kind of art do you usually draw? Jason L Simpson replies: "Well if you ever come back to read this since you don't seem to have an email. I draw women mostly. I want to draw dragons but not having too much luck, and a few other assorted things. Faries, angels, ya know... fantasy stuff." | |
| 31 May 2003 | Renedel Poste | Loading...I dunnoooooo, those are some pretty amazing paint pics ya got there. I was speechless with amazement for a while. You've got skillz, man. Pure. Skillz. Anyway, I checked out your site and that art was quite nifty. I dug the chinese dragon thingy. Yup yup. Anyway, hopefully some time you can get your 'puter unpacked and post more pics. Till then, keep up the amazing works of paint art. *wiggles eyebrows* Jason L Simpson replies: "Maybe my blindness is getting the best of me. The swords do look a bit better from farther away. Anyhoo. You have some quite amazing drawings on your page as well. My downfall will probably always be my lack of coloring ability. Maybe someday I'll get it. Mata ne." | |
| 12 Aug 2003 | Yuki R. Yoshida | Loading...Love the new pics. They are just so original. Keep up the awesome work Jason! ^^ Jason L Simpson replies: "Thanks. I have a ton of ideas lately but can't seem to get them on paper. Practice practice practice I guess. Course being in the middle of nowhere gives you all the time in the world. Right along with a bunch of sand. Ja. Mata ne." | |
| 13 Aug 2003 | Nila | Loading...My favorite drawing is "wingless tear". There is a lot of depth and emotion to this piece. I thank you for sharing the story behind the art. The story gives it a little something extra. Keep up the quality work Jason. You will only get better.....And may God return you safely back home. Siempre Fi Jason L Simpson replies: " Your still alive and kicking I see. Thanks Nila. I'll try and put a little effort into my descriptions from now on. I didn't think people read them. I'll be sure to make it back intact. Later.Inochi wa tsuzuku (life goes on)" | |
| 21 Aug 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...Hey really cool site didn't even know it was here till today, makes me wanna get back into drawing. Jason L Simpson replies: "Your still alive huh? And anonymous too! People aren't going to hunt you down if they know your name... Well, most of them won't anyway. Take care. Ja ne." | |
| 31 Aug 2004 | Peter A. Rawlins | Loading...Jason, I hate to post a rant, and do not wish to start a flame war, so please don't take this like that. Your bodies are very realistic, and really put any of my art work to shame, but the faces are very un-realistic, which makes them look, out of place? Almost like the characters are two different people pasted onto one. I would also like to see you work on your hands alittle more. You are still a great artist, I would like to see your work if you were to make the bodies match the faces, or vis versa. I think you have alot of potential. I hope you far surpass me in your indevors. Blessed be, Peter Jason L Simpson replies: "Woohoo! Flame war! Aww no flame war. Thanks for the critisizm. My friend has said the same thing. It's sorta werid trying to make the face match the body without making the woman look like she has a 5'oclock shadow. I'm workin on it though. My anatomy is up 0.7 since the drawings I've last posted however the painfully long wait to see if your drawings will even be accepted has deterred me from trying to upload anything else. If I don't shade the body or the head they usualy come out looking the same though." | |
