Your pics are none too bad, just remember that detail and a certain *wow* factor are always needed for major hits. I think we fall into the category of artists who do it for themselves and no one else, and as such once we're happy with a picture we leave it alone and settle for it. Viewers are not so nice however and ask yourself is this a picture *you* would admire. I've got very few pictures I'm proud of but I'm working at it. I'll def be back to see how you're doing ^_^ it sounds like you have plans... Oh and ta very much for the com! Justin Manteuffel replies: "Yep, you've got me right. It's a strange thing; I can critique artwork like nobody's business, but actually putting that wow factor in myself's been something of a struggle. Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Cheers!"

I enjoyed you collection so far you skills are a little rough but the images are viewable. Do you happen to have the real photo of your friends i'd enjoy seeing the before. -ShiftyI'm working hard on refining my drawing skills, so anything new I post here should start to look a little more pleasing. Maybe once I get some time I'll try to post the original to my companions drawing.

Cool little gallery here! I like it! Your work is very creative and interesting. I hope to come back someday to see an update!!! Good luck! Justin Manteuffel replies: "Why thank you. I'm not especially proud of most of the ones here, but I do indeed have an update in the works. Do check back in a couple of weeks. Thanks for stopping by!"
Hail Justin! I decided to return the favour, considering you commented on my little vampire ... thing. I like your style, with the nice clean lines (something I can't do because I draw using the good ole' feather strokes ^_^). I for one enjoyed browsing your collection here. Especially the coloured group picture, the title of which I've forgotten ... If you continue to work on the admirable style you have expressed here, I think you will get far with it. I know for certain that my work needs much improvement ^_^. Kudos and keep up the good work! Justin Manteuffel replies: "Hail, Lady Boston! Glad you enjoyed my companions and me. I'll tell you what: I'll trade you my clean lines for your feathered strokes. No dice? Drat. Thanks for the comment."
*Looks at your bio picture* Cool costume!!! That's my favorite picture in the whole gallery! XD Just kidding, cool artwork, though. I hope to see more of your artwork, your a good artist. ^_~ Justin Manteuffel replies: "Thank you!! You are the first person who's outwardly thought of me as a 'good artist.' That really means a lot to me. You're not so bad yourself, you know."
The time has come for a (delayed) seasons greetings and a good kick up the rear, c'mon Justin my friend! where are the updates? I know you've been doing something... I can smell it. I just bought a tablet, time to show you my stuff Anyway hope you had a great xmas and a happy new year! Justin Manteuffel replies: "Many happy returns! My last update was actually an update of my companions drawing, which I like much better now. New update in about a week. You got a tablet!! Wonderful! Yes, show me what you can do, by all means!"
I really liked your gallery - great use of perspective, colors, and I throughly enjoyed the subject matter too! Thanks so much for your comment at my gallery - I really enjoyed returning the favor!! Justin Manteuffel replies: "Thanks so much for your feedback. My next focus with my artwork is going to be with concept. Maybe that'll give my art an extra push. It's good to meet a fellow FY fan!"

Ye be a pirate!!!
Great start of a gallery ye've 'ere, I says. Keep expanding! I especially liked the outfits in the pic with you and your mateys! Justin Manteuffel replies: "Arrrr! Oi gots more where these came from, oi have. Everyone's fond of my friends' garb, it seems. You've got some nice garb too, you know. Thanks for the comment!"
Indeed, your characters are dressed in great costumes. Do you have a particular interest in history? Justin Manteuffel replies: "Yes, and actually costumes are a major reason I'm interested in history. 17th and 18th century costumes in particular were filled with feathers and lace and finery unprecedented in earlier history. Also, swords became as much of a fashion statement as a weapon. Thanks for the comment!"
